Root Esteem Boot Animation Thread

Hey Guys Just a warning Romtoolbox I Downloaded a Bootaniamtion I guess it was broken some how. but anyway it got me stuck in boot loops. I always Preview em before Installing. but this one seem to work fine in the preview. But thank god for Back ups and lol my back up is around 2 Gigs right now

Lol yeah. Once in a while you going to run across those. And yay, that's the beauty of Back ups!!!!! .

Quick note; if you want to get out of the bootloop , you could also hold power button until your phone restart and feel the phone vibrate...

On top of I have had no luck with tablet animations. I would advise to not use those ones.

Edit: woops wrong picture :)
 
Would the easiest way to use and save multiple boot animations be to just rename the with a description and change at will...don't know if anyone has tried this.:confused:
 
Yeah I do the same. Unless I just don't like it then I just completely delete it but other wise just rename it to a short description like "bluedroid" or "Razr" etc etc so I know which is which

so when u go to rom toolbox and bootanimation when u install a bootanimation wat does it tell that u cant download,I have no problems with rom toolbox
 
Never tried the top one but have loaded the bottom one up before with no problems. Why do you think not compatable:confused:
 
For some reason, after it's done with the boot animation,
my LG esteem goes black for like 10 secs, then slowly loads everything
I got scared and quickly switched to the green droid razr boot + sound
 
for some reason, mine doesn't have audio when it powers up, i don't recall ever hearing the stock boot audio. after i upgraded to zvd and rooted and detoxd with ld-lg aphla1 then 2 nothing other then that. i followed shiny's instructions. but i get no audio. if someone can help that would be great.

I recommend the one in landscape mode, but for those who just want bootanimation in portrait mode (slightly elongated )

Im using this one. I made a custom dubstep sound clip for it. Whats awesome is before it would lag and stutter a little bit. but after upgrading to to ZVD and flashing the ZVD plaque kernel into the gingersteem extreme rom when it boots its perfect no lag hitches skips or anything.

Which version of Gingersteem extreme are you are you on. 1 or 2
 
found this online :) Boot Animations Droidboots

at the moment i am between using the tablet version of the jolly roger flag on rtb or dmesg lite from the app store. i had a bios boot screen, not the rtb version and someone deleted it :/ one of my favorites as it was for the entire boot, unlike rtb version... ill post more sites as i find them
