My Samsung Galaxy S-II phone cannot be connected to USB OTG. Earlier it was functioning well. I changed another OTG cable thinking that fault might be with the cable, but the new cable is also having the same problem. Any body having the similar problem can you give some solution to my problem.
 
My SGS2 is not taking USB OTG. Earlier it was not so. I changed a new OTG cable thinking that the fault might be with the cable, but the same thing happens with the new cable. What is the soloution? Pl tell me anybody knowing the solution.

Hey guys I have a question. I have the esteem and I noticed when I visit Wikipedia,that when I try to view the little separate articles of the page it won't let me view them.

I tap on the little button 'show' but nothing pops up. the 'show' button doesn't seem to respond. I'm using my phone's stock web browser.

is anyone else having this Wikipedia problem/bug?
 
Seems like LG Esteem can only "see" 4 GB out of my current 16-GB card that is only Class 4. Is there a way for LG Esteem to use more than 4 GB of a MicroSD card as its system memory?

I have tons of games and apps on the card, and they are slow to start up. Will I see a performance improvement if I use a Class 10 MicroSD card with LG Esteem?
 
The "internal memory" is an internal SD card. The sd card you put in is above that. I have an 8gb class 10 in mine right now. So either the sd card you inserted isnt mounted or you need to format it whihc you can do on the phone or if you have Mini Tool or an alike program on your comp

i also have a 32gb card in mines and it shows my exact amount of memory, it doesnt just show 4gb so im guessing you didnt format/partition your sd card.

depends on metro, as they are updating everywhere, also when they get enough 3g tower to relieve the stress of 4g things will be better im hopping. ;)
 
This is not a problem, more of a concern of mine. After the phone goes black (i have it set to a minute) in order to get to the unlock screen i have to press the power button. My issue is, and especially at the beginning i'm constantly playing with it or should i say adjusting it so i always have to keep pressing the power buttom. My fear is that this switch will get alittle funcky after awhile. That's why i like my optimus m, i had a choice of 4 buttons to press to get to that state. On my esteem (which i love so far)the bottom 4 soft touch buttons are not active, nor the volume etc. I went thru all of the settings looking for a way to designate another way to wake it up and found none so far.
Does anyone have a way to solve this?

I dont believe so. I dont think it will go bad tho and if it does warranty it.

Tho I do wish the button wasnt at the top of the phone. Drives me a little nuts. I rather have it on the side.
 
I just purchased my esteem and some things like simply switching screens is a bit laggy.. how do i hard reset my phone, and would that help?

Hard reset wouold be holding down the center of the volume button while pressing the powerbutton when you see the LG logo release power and keep holding volume.

I recommend changing to a different launcher since the LG launcher is very slow. Swipe keyboard is also laggy.

I use adw launcher but there are many good launchers out there. Just don't use the LG one.

root and remove bloatware will speed up the phone as well

I have zero lag after all this.

If you want a very fast keyboard download gingerbread keyboard from the market.

next launcher to check out is ICS, you can try the free version and also they have a paid version $1.29 but has more customize things in it. ;)
