Esteem or the Indulge?

Now I just need to get Samsung to replace this defective Indulge so I can put it up on Craigslist (I have too much ethics to sell a known broken handset). I hope I can get $170-$180 for it so I can recoup some of my costs. I have never bought 2 phones in a year before, let alone within 3 months of each other.

since you can get a new Indulge for $199 after rebate, dont think someone will pay to high for it, but het it never hurts to try.;)

You forget that when you buy a new one you have to pay taxes on the $299 sticker price. And here in California after all the extra fees it'll cost $384 to get the phone out the door. $180 for a used one and then another $10 to activate it is an easy sell, especially since whoever buys it likely will already have service with MetroPCS. And if they switch their number to the Indulge by dialing *228 that $10 is waved.

nope never forget that you have to pay taxes lol, you can still buy it from the store and *228 and activated it if you are an existing customer, $324.00 out the door and didnt pay a penny more...dont know what metro you go to, but every metro is different in their own way.;)
 
Don't expect to get more than $150 for your used Indulge...thats how much I aimed for but settled for a realistic price of $135 and I sold it only a few days after the Esteem was released so it wasn't as difficult to get rid of at the time. Good luck.

you can also update for free on the metro website if you are already a metro customer. thats how i switched my optimus to the esteem

Not everyone can afford the Esteem. I doubt I'll have a hard time getting a good price for it, when it comes back from Samsung it'll be good as new, with the plastic still on it. And I still have the box and all accessories (which have never been removed from the plastic).
 
I made the biggest mistake in buying the indulge without reading any reviews and oh man did I screwed up! It's been nothing but problems and I can't wait 'til I come up with the money for the Esteem ($349 is no bananas) and other carriers? no way! pay double for less services... Go with the Esteem, I know I will ;)

if you have less than 1 hour talk time take it back and get your $300 back and use your old phone, and just save up $80 more and by the esteem, well woth it, plus with MIR going on until November 24, you only paying $249 + taxes...;)

I bought it as soon it came out :( and I've been kicking my a$$ since then...trust me I'm saving every penny for that Esteem!
 
i had bought the indulge after it had came out, guess the second batch that came from the Manu, but i have had less problems than the first batch of phones that came out, but i never really mess with it to long and my nephew hit me up for it...i love collection androids and bricking them to fix them...;)
