Help Esteem trouble

Plug your phone in(Choose Internet Connection Mode) and the update tool will check your phone. The "Start Updating" will turn red when the tool is done reading the phone.

Click "Start Updating" and phone will update within 30-40 minutes.
How to verify your version: Bottom left button on your phone-Settings-About Phone-SW version:D;)

in the LG update tool, go to customer support and click on Recovery Phone then enter your phones info and click check, your phones info is on the back of the phone under the battery.

Good morning. Uhhhmmm, sorry guys, but I think I'll stop where we left off last night. I appreciate the help in restoring this crazy thing lol, but I would feel more comfortable letting someone who knows what he's doin take it the rest of the way. I'm not real comfortable going into areas I don't know anything about. LOL I had a bad experience with that LOL. So don't be too disappointed, but I'm gonna take it to a repair shop this weekend & see what they can do. But I did learn a lot last night which may be needed in the future.

hey guys my Esteem screen is blank but when I turn it on the light in the corner comes on and and my message noise chirps and I can feel my lock screen, I can even unlock it and feel around my home page. I dropped it and it went blank but when I give it a little tap the screen flashes back up and I can see I have messages and shit but the screen is blank. got any suggestions???

Welcome to AF Tonygavis:)
It sounds like the screen digitizer has broken when the phone was dropped. The digitizer can be replaced if that is something you would like to do.
