Esteem white backgrounds & keyboard. :-(

Has anybody noticed that most Gingerbread phones come with black backgrounds for the dialer, contacts, & messaging stock apps but we're stuck with the ugly unattractive white backgrounds & scrappy LG keyboard instead of the awesome Gingerbread keyboard, they should make an update & change this, black is much easier than white on the battery & looks better to. I like the way the apps look in general just change the background color.

You can always just download a gingerbread keyboard
And alternative dialers/messangers/contacts

Just so you know. As far as the color goes for battery, you wont see any difference. The only time you'll see a difference is if your device has a Samsung AMOLED LCD screen. Otherwise, it really does nothing noticable by the eye to see.

For looks that's different. I don't mind it all actually.

But as the other poster posted, download another dialer/keyboard/messanger app/contact app from the market. GO SMS/GO DIALS & CONTACTS APP are nice. or DialerOne is good as well.

but don't rely on the black vs white or a colored back ground for the dialers or wallpaper. That method is only truely effective on the AMOLED LCD screens.

Hope this helps ..a little..
