Because if it is on Verizon, it would be CDMA instead of GSM, correct?

We cannot import that back to Europe

It's on the UK Motorola website and I emailed Moto and got back a confirmation that it would be coming to the UK but that they couldn't confirm when.

That, of course, will be a GSM model.

My guess is that Verizon got the exclusive for an absolute minimum of 3 months.
