I've been reading on here that lte on/off app lets you change 3g options. Is your supposed to be on EVDO or CDMA prl or it doesn't matter as long as you have 3g coverage.

Cdma auto prl will switch you between 1x and 3G when; from what I believe the signal for 1x is faint. Evdo only will only look for towers that support 3G other than that, no signal. Cdma only is 1x pure. The thing is if you have less than 3 bars from what I read, your battery drains faster. So unless you are digging for a signal, stay on cdma only, unless someone can correct me.
I have posted in a couple other threads about me seeing the 3g icon for a second after an unlock. I have changed the settings within the *#*#4636#*#* menu to each of the three and can't get the 3g to stay. But I'm curious about the less then 3 bars theroy....cause inside my house I have ZERO bars 99% of the time. Most of my daily battery usage is from searching for signal that is barley there.

EV-DO is part of CDMA.
in terms of the data, its 1xRTT or EV-DOrevA (i think)
