EVDO Rev. B coming soon?

Has anyone heard anthing about Sprint possibly updating the EVO's EVDO Rev. A (i.e. 3G) up to Rev. B? It's said it will boost data speed's up to T-Mobile's so called 4G speeds. They say it can be done with just a software update to the phone. I hope they do. That would be a tremendous boost to those of us who have been waiting and waiting and waiting for WiMax.

That would be awesome! I had no idea they even had anything like that. If it is simply a software upgrade on our phones, is there any way that we could get it via ROM? If it is just a software thing, I would imagine that Sprint would only do it for new phones. ...then again, they might not speed up our speeds. They're trying their best to keep their unlimited data plans and if they sped up our speeds, people would use more data. I doubt they'll upgrade us unless they rid themselves of unlimited data or charge more for unlimited data.
