I was reading the Wall Street Journal today (someone had left it at the bagel shop), and Samsung had a full page ad for Galaxy S on page A5. It showed the generic Galaxy S configuration picture and had a bunch of positive quotes about the display and the phone. That was nice to see as a Captivate owner, but what was inriguing was the list of carriers. Under Available now it listed AT&T and T-Mobile, and under coming soon, it listed Sprint and Verizon, whose variants we already know about, but also US Cellular, and Cellular South, which was news to me. Galaxy S sure is everywhere, which is very good new for Android in general, and for us owners of the platform in particular. Now if Metro PCS comes on board (if iDEN is even possible on the platform), then there might be a Galaxy S for potentially everyone.
