Help Even my settings crash?!?!

I've had my LG Optimus M for a while, but i've never had this problem.
Once it destroyed my 8G SD card and was actually giving my the same
troubles. Closing down my messaging out of no where, it wouldn't let me delete Apps or Messeges and/or my Contacts. But now its seriously closing everything on my phone. Even when I hit the Hold button it errored out and force closed everything on my phone one after another. Now it wont even reboot. It's just stuck at the Android loading screen, restarting, and restarting. I'm tired of LG phones, they simply just suck. How can I restart this thing, so I can at least use it?

if your not rooted which it sounds like your not, simply press and hold from phone off power, volume down and home until you see an android dude and a box behind him. this is resetting your phone back to out of the box settings, erasing all of your apps and all of your personal data that is on your phone. your sd card will remain intact though.

You may be against it, but I would highly recommend trying out rooting the Optimus M to get the best out of it. I will only advice you do that after you've thoroughly read through the main posts about rooting and customizing the phone. It is not for everyone, but it sure fixed my software bugs with the original ROM.
