Help Every ringtone now a song?

It started last night
I got an email and "Glory Days" starts playing after the phone vibrated.
this am, I got an email and some other song started.
This afternoon I get a call and Dr. Dre starts playing!
In every case, this was NOT the set ringtone, nor even in the ringtone list! These are songs from my SD card! - What the heck!?
Any idea how this could have happened? If it was all my sms or email or calls, I would say its an app, but its been Everything!

Something simliar happen to me as well. I restarted my phone and it reverted back to the way it was.

SO I think i figured it out - had to pull the battery today, as the thing just locked up after I tried to hang up from a call I received while on the Car Dock. So since i had that defective aftermarket battery, i swapped to the std battery.
next call I got was Phil Collins, and none of the ringtones worked. BUT I remembered that when you pull the battery it has to remount the SD card. I wonder if while its booting, it checks the filename for the apps, ringtones, and notifications, and if it hasnt mounted the SD card yet, it goes a little wonky.
Can anyone else confirm this happens after battery pulls?

So I moved all my ringtones and notifications to the phone, and have not had any issues since!
