Everyone check your orders! 4PM is the magic time

I read on another site that 4PM was the magic time for all pre orders to ship. I checked just now as I have done every 5 minutes today and BAM!!!! SHIPPED!!!! :eek::eek::eek::eek::o:o:o:o:):):););););):D:D:D:D:D
 
I am not sure. The poster said that the cut off time for delivery by tomorrow was 4PM today. I ordered on the 10th and have been seeing nothing! I checked at 4PM (PA) and it was listed as shipped with my tracking #.

When I first clicked the tracking # it said no info. was available. Now it says it was picked up at 2:30 from Texas and would be here (PA) by 3pm tomorrow.
 
Just got off the phone with BB mobile online and the rep informed me what others have been told and that is the Note will not ship until they have it in stock on the 19th. Kinda pointless to pre order if I'm going to get it AFTER the release date. Oh well....that's the price you pay for a $50 gift card and flip case I guess.... If I don't have it by the end of next week....then I'll start to get mad....
 
I warned everyone about BB mobile. They always make promises they can't keep on delivery dates. That is why they have to sweeten the pot with extras
 
Mine's coming in tomorrow! But if I had the option of BB and the goodies, I would have gone that route! Look at it this way- by the time you get it, we will have reported all the bugs, and the fixes will be halfway there!
 
Oh man! I'm getting so exited to get this phone, I preordered @Bestbuy and got a sweet deal, the $50 giftcard (which they told me would apply towards the phone) and the free $30 flip case. Also will be trading in my old 3GS so I will be getting a $70 credit. Not too shabby for $180 and free case!

Ok guys, my two main concerns are that I preordered at a Bestbuy Mobile store at the mall (unlike the actual Bestbuy stores, they only deal with cellphones and tablets) so do you think they will give the actual big box stores priority on the phones shipped? Will they fulfill their orders first and screw me? (the guy @BBmobile told me I was the 2nd preorder they had on the 5th which was the day they started taking them).

And second, I'm on a family plan with my ex (yeah yeah, I don't wanna hear about it, lol)
and she wants to take me off her plan. I'm grandfathered in the coveted unlimited data plan with at&t and definitely don't wanna lose it, specially with 4G LTE. Do you think I can keep the phone if she cancels my plan? Will I be able to keep my unlimited data if I get my own line and keep the same number? I'm not sure if at&t can just split our bill...

Any input is appreciated.

As far as I know as long as you pass the credit check you can assume responsibility for your line which would let you keep your number. That being said you should be able to keep your unlimited data in theory, but it may take some negotiating and the right rep. We all know just because it is right that doesn't mean it will be easy to do, most reps have no clue as to what can or cannot be done. I would not give up on it. FWIW I used to own a cellular store for a different carrier, that is where my info. comes from. I tried to stay knowledgeable about all carrier's practices. Just smart business. :rolleyes:
