Working custom recovery? As in recover from brick state? And woah Optimus S rom? @_@. I'd be interested in knowin where this leads to....

No I don't believe it will recovery from a brick, but I may be wrong. It will however allow you to backup your boot, cache, and system .img files properly.

is corrupted. The one from a nandroid backup will not be.

I'm not sure what you mean by "woah Optimus S rom" This custom recovery has nothing to do with the S and there are no custom roms for the M yet and will not be probably until the proper boot.img from a nandroid backup is modified. The link in that thread is only directing people to the Optimus S page so you can see what features the custom for M is capable of.

Oh okay. What i ment was I kept seeing people talking about flashing roms of Optimus M to Optimus S. But perhaps, i'm misreading. I was actaully able to recover a near bricked phone, simpley with just factor reset. It took tons of attempts. Was blue screen at first, then had some lines randomly appearing, and would just shut off. After like 15-20 restart attempts with holding volume key with home and power button, was able to get it to wipe to factory.
