Evil Eris 4 No Notification Button & Wall Papers Missing?

Last night I wiped the existing rom and flashed EE 4.0. Everything seemed OK except when I press menu, I do not see a notification option.

Also, when I try to change the wall paper, none of the HTC wall papers show up for me to select.

Should I wipe and re flash again? :confused:
 
i have ee4.0 and the only thing that doesnt work for me is sending mms messages which isnt a big deal really
 
EE 4.0 has had 0 bug fixes since its hasty release.

You can pull down the notification from the top anyway, you don't really need it in Menu > Notifications.

That's just an "extra" place for it. A waste if you ask me.

I'd post this in the Evil Eris 4.0 thread on xda-developers.

When you flash a first-version ROM (4.0's first release), there are things that aren't how they're supposed to be. It happens. Maybe 4.1 or whatever comes next during the second half of the month will work better.
