Root EvilEris or KaosFroyo?

I want to know, Evil Eris or Kaosfroyo? I'd be using the latest version of each, I've tried, each, and they both run smoothly. I prefer Kaosfroyo because it has no Sense, but Evil Eris is very stable and very sexy. I can't decide, what do you guys think?

Looks like you answered your own question

Well... what have you noticed to be unstable? I haven't used Kaos yet, but there doesn't really seem to be any huge issues (other than camera and LED) from what I am reading. I only used EvilEris for about 5 minutes (couldn't figure out how to get a2sd working), so I can't comment on that one. I use White Widow with no problems, working Apps2SD, overclocking, built-in Spare Parts and ADW Launcher... love it so far. I want to switch to KaosFroyo eventually once all the kinks are worked out, but it's gonna be tough to give this one up...

I used EE for a few hours and then found KaosFroyo and have been with that since.

I just like the look and feel of Froyo over 2.1...

edit - and I just finished flashing v24 :)

Not unstable at all

My main problem with Kaos is I never know when a new update has been released. I often times skip four or five versions. Is there a way to get notified of the updates?

im using kaosfroyo tried EE 3.0, WW 4.6 didnt like em and the a2sd on WW is a bunch of crap i had to go back to stock twice cause it messed my phone n sd card up its good but not for me

I just reflashed my phone to EE3, I found that Kaos was not working so well.
Nope, can't live without 2.2. Went back to Kaosfroyo 24

All Froyo ROMs are full of bugs which keep me from using them. For now, CELBv2.8 is my main rom unitl CELB CM6 is more stable.

I've tried every ROM I could get my hands on and White Widow is about the best IMO.

WW-4.4 or CELB-2.8 if you want aosp/vanilla Eclair(2.1)
EE4 when its released, or sensable if you want sense based Eclair(2.1)
Kaos FroYo if you want AOSP/Vanilla FroYo(2.2)
wait if you want sense based FroYo

While I liked kaos the sprint branding drove me nuts. So back to xtrom I went.

uh....just edit /data/eri.xml :)

rename this txt file to .xml, and change 'EriText="Android 2.2 FroYo"' to whatever you want, then push to /data

KaosFroyo 2.4 is with out a doubt is the fastest I have used to date. No bugs at all except the camera which is no big deal to me.

I prefer Sense, runs better IMO. I tried xtrROM a few minutes ago and decided to go back to EE 2.0.1 until Frame releases EE 4.0. I like the theme of 2.0.1 better than 3.0.

I am sure I will miss the extra free space in KaosFroyo.
