Evo 3D battery works in Sensation

has anybody tested to see if it's much better? if it's a stock HTC battery, I would think so given the almost 200mah improvement, and the already solid battery life on the Sensation... at least so I've heard.

Yes, you are getting about 2 more hours of talk time. With applications and games, it varies greatly because some just use a lot of energy.

so it's the exact same size then? i.e., it's not like a millimeter different and therefore causes a little extra pressure on the back or front? (like the Droid X/X2's extended battery with the stock cover)

There is typically a 1:1 relationship between the increase in mAh, and the increase in "similar usage". Given that the continuous talk time for the Sensation is listed at 400 minutes WCDMA (495 minutes GSM), and the Evo's battery is ~13% larger than stock, then one would typically see a 13% gain in "talk time" (or again, "your normal usage"), of about 55 minutes. Or, if your battery dies after 24hrs, then with the new battery, it would die after ~27hrs.

As always, YMMV.

evo 3d batt works great and i noticed a differance mainly when the bat is in the yellow it doesnt die off as fast like the factory does when it gets that low all in all last longer.lol

Does anyone know if you were to use an EVO battery that does not look like its genuine can that ruin the phone I have heard that if its not genuine then it could really mess the phone up

The website I suggested sells a genuine HTC Evo 3D battery.
