Help Evo 4G camera is not working right

My problem is that every time i try to open my camera i just get a blank screen. I have tried using other camera apps besides the stock on and some of them read initializing but then just sits on that screen. Also i am not able to press the back button to exit the blank screen i have to press the home button. I was wondering if anyone has had this problem and if there was anyway to fix it with out factory resetting because i have done this too many times. Thanks!

Try shutting your handset down and pulling the battery for at least one minute. That often solves camera related glitches.

If it does not, then you can also try a factory reset. I hope this helps you out.
