EVO 4G - Froyo 2.2 'Vanilla' Android with Sense Widgets

I am a huge fan of the Fresh builds by Flipz over at Geek For Me – Sprint Evo 4g & CDMA Hero. I have a proposal for a new build (once able, of course) and wanted your guys opinions....

I think most of us agree the best part of HTC's 'sense' is the widgets. HTC designed the Sense UI back in Android 1.5 days and it's a bit dated.

The Froyo version of the Picture Gallery, Music Player, Dialer, App Drawer and Lock Screen are far superior to the Sense iterations.

I think this would be the best build on the EVO:

Froyo 2.2 'vanilla' build on the EVO with all Sense widgets.
All hardware working. (cameras, 4G, etc)
30FPS fixed
Built in Tethering Ability
Build in Overclock Utility
Sprint Apps Gone (ability to install later)

I'm talkin' the actual Froyo build here, not something that 'looks like' Froyo, not the HTC build with Sense disabled (still keeps the HTC Music, Gallery, Dialer, Lock screen etc.). I'm talkin' the full whammy, 'extra pickles' awesomeness.....

I've already donated some $$ to Flipz, but if he can pull off this build, its worth a lot more $ to me...a lot. I'll definitely put out more if he could pull this off.

Who agrees with me? Would you like this EPIC build on the EVO?
 
sense was completely redesigned from the ground up at android 2.0+ so it is not completely outdated at all...
 
I would donate for this. I miss my old vanilla Android from the Droid. I miss having the ability to push the speakerphone button while the dialpad is showing. I plan on rooting as soon as a 2.2 is ready to go without Sense.
 
That is exactly what i'm looking for, i'd even settle for no HTC widgets.. i just want an "everything" working froyo build!
 
Amen! since the widgets are optional anyway, I'll take a build like this! I don't use the Sense widgets or Launcher (LauncherPro rocks!) and I really do want Froyo!
 
I voted other b/c I'm not sure. I like the sense stuff BUT then again if there is something better then cool, but if HTC updares its sense stuff w/ 2.2 then i dunno.
 
I like sense but I really like the vanilla android app drawer and the way it flies in when you hit the menu button. I also like their 3D picture gallery. And that it supports landscape for your home screens. But I like Sense's leap, 7 home screens, the weather widget with full screen animations and the friends stream widget, and the keyboards both dialer pad and qwerty/portraid mode. I wish Sense had all those things I like about stock android. It would be perfect.
 
Straight Vanilla please. The UIs made by HTC/Moto etc are terrible and need to be stopped.

This would be the perfect build. If he can create this, I would be extremely happy and would most def. donate for this, and his time. Someone pass this to him!!!! =)
 
Pretty sure Sense widgets need Sense framework, which in turn needs Sense installed, which in turn needs Sense enabled for them to work. Awesome idea though.
 
Yeah, I've moved past Sense all together. There are better alternative widgets in the Market anyhow. I just want vanilla Froyo. Until someone gets vanilla Froyo on the Evo, I'll be sticking with LauncherPro, Beautiful Widgets and Flikie.
