Help Evo 4G gps

I think so, like the gps in tablets, it should work. Maybe someone who has actually tried this and can say a yes or no on the issue will chime in.
 
Hmm.. I drove across the country with Google navigation up. It never had an issue. But I always loaded a map while I had cell service. I'm not sure it will load without service. But its good to go once loaded, may not be as accurate or reroute as fast tho.
 
when i sold my hero and switched to the evo, the gps on the hero would not work. so i do not think so, but i have not tried on an evo.
 
I was getting terrible service in my home (we had to go outside to talk). So we switched to VZW and I got a T-Bolt, but I have the window mount and all and I love the Google GPS just thought if it still worked I would keep the Evo. Working in L.A. I can always pull WIFI and watch netflix while on lunch.
