Root Evo 4G Root and Wifi Tether

Lurker
I just rooted my Evo 4g so that I can use Wifi tether for my iPad. I'm fairly new at all this rooting stuff. Does the rooting and wifi tether violate Sprint's Terms of Service? I've read that it does and some say that it doesn't. I know that rooting voids the warranty, which I don't mind, but I'm more worried about the wifi tethering. And also how would Sprint find out?

It doesnt interfeer with anything simply cancel your sprints hotspot, I've had mine for a good while now and my bill hasnt changed

The only reason why you would run into problems tethering from your Evo is if you are constantly on a roaming network for your data use. This is very unlikely because I believe you would have to do the Verizon prl hack in order to accomplish this to the degree necessary to cause problems. As long as you are using Sprint's network for data use then it is truly unlimited and I have never heard of Sprint asking any questions - even with high data consumption.
