Help Evo 4g update changed Phone Widget orientation

[ovalface]

I just did a system update on my HTC Evo 4G and now my phone dialer widget is locked into a vertical position on the right side of my screen. It's an awful eyesore and I haven't found any way to change it back through settings or display menus. Any ideas? If if helps, it's version 4.53.651.1

Possible a simple reboot will help?
Or, shut down phone, pull battery for 3 minutes, reinstall battery and power up phone again.
