Evo 4g very warm

Hello and welcome to the community. :ciao:

Are you playing games on it for a prolong period of time? If it's hot to the touch than that's not good as it can affect the battery and heat is never good for devices.
 
I'm not using it. I searched the forum and found a thread with similiar problem.
It's hot under the camera lens. 4g won't turn on. Battery was low and then 10 minutes later it was down to nothing.
 
That could be it if your device is constantly looking for a signal, but I'd imagine that would only affect battery life.
 
It sounds like you are having battery drain issues with an app that runs at full throttle in the background, making your phone heat up while using the battery. I would download GSAM battery monitor from the play store and use it to monitor for heavy battery usage by an app when you're having this issue.
 
Ok, thanks. I pulled off the cover and disconnected the battery. I'm charging it but haven't turned it back on. By the way. Is there an easy way to reboot?
With my Optimus V I just held down the power button. It doesn't work that way with the Evo.
