Help EVO 4G Virgin LOL

Lurker
I just switched from Tmo to Sprint and got the evo 4g. I am overwhelmed with all the apps and settings! I've read a lot about the battery life on these phones and wondered, what or how is the best way to conserve the battery? Are there any apps that are hogging up the battery charge and are they safe to delete? There are a lot of things running and I dont know what I really need and don't need. Any info would be helpful. Thanks to all that reply :)

To save you a bunch of trouble and time, you should do a search on here. As the evo is over a year old now, there are TONS of threads with battery saving tips. The biggest drain to battery is the display and syncing. Turn off the display when not using it, and turn brightness down when you can. Also go to menu-settings-accounts and sync, and turn off or turn down syncing for things you dont need.

You cannot delete any stock apps without rooting.

Do a search for task killers on here, and you will find out why you dont need them. You see all those apps "running" but they actually aren't, they are just cached. Don't worry about them.
