Help Evo almost never unlocks. Freezes 24/7

Can almost NEVER slide to unlock the phone. When it does unlock it freezes. Have to take battery out a good 5 times a day.

Went to sprint store and they did a hard reset and guaranteed that it would fix the problem. It didn't help at all.... It might be even worse. Ive had it for less than 4 months. Never dropped it and no damage whatsoever.

Is there a fix or a suggestion?

Can I get it replaced because its so bad I can hardly use the thing?

ALSO it is NOT rooted. And the problem has been going on for 2 weeks.

when you had it "hard reset"...
right after .. before you reloaded all your apps..
was it the same lag? same issues??

if no lag..then the problem can be:
1. a bad app (1 or more) that is messing your sys.
or
2. to many apps on your phone!

if there is still a lag after hard Reset:
then your phone is has a serious issue and have them replace it.

It still was laggy... And All I have is FML. Photobucket. Handcent. Tango. Papijump. Papertoss. Like Ive ALWAYS had since I got the phone late december....

take it to a repair center.. tell them... you want it replaced.

I say remove ALL apps then do a factory reset on the phone. Load apps one by one then look for difference in operating system.
