EVO and google voice

So I have a Google Voice account. Can I just purchase a data plan with sprint and exclusively use it with google voice? I still have my Droid with VZW but I really really want this EVO. haha.

Anyone else gonna do that or thinking about it. Or am I the only stupid one?

That's true. Dang. I forgot. I still need a number with Sprint.

I still have my regular number I gave out before I got the google number, but If I have to open a new line of service to get the EVO with discount, then I will use exclusively the GV number for quite some time.

On my iPhone, I used a combo of Truphone, Gizmo and Google Voice to make wifi calls. The quality was hit or miss, but it worked.
