Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum but not to this phone, I had a hardware question so I guess I'll start with the story:
One day I dropped my phone and the backlight stopped working, however everything else works fine, I used to have to press the bottom of the screen in for the screen to light up, now that little trick doesn't work anymore. I've seen the insides of this phone, and my question is, is it possible to get the screen half of another evo and connect it to mine and still work fine? Or are the leds and all on the other board? I appreciate any help on this subject, I've had to use a complete P.O.S. Blackberry curve and I'm really not trying to upgrade at this moment.
