I unzip motochopper tool and used pwn binary inside it to gain root access. I push it to /data/local/tmp and execute it using adb. Exploit seems to be executed and after sometimes, device reboot in recovery, then norma;;y it boots and nothing happen. No # on adb shell.
What this will do is give you a stock rooted rom and yes it will wipe everything on the phone and it will be just like when you bought it but with root privileges. Make sure to backup your important data that you dont wanna lose. Gmail will backup contacts and apps, calendar etc if you set gmail up that way. after you do this you will be able to use to access your root directory and if you choose to you can use a virtual machine then you can study your phone for your project. Don't forget to make a backup with a non root backup app of your choice. You also will be able to for a custom recovery like team win recovery project or clockwork mod. I believe this custom stock rom comes with clockworkmod but you can easily flash TWRP using clockworkmod. Its your choice.
