So I just purchased this dock on ebay. Has anyone else purchased this and have comments? If not if anyone i interested i can review once i recieve?

That's it, anyone have this or are there reviews about it? Looks like a solid solution for that price. I bought one from Wa-lmart for 10 bucks that was terrible, the phone was to heavy for it and caused the arm holding the phone to shake while i was driving.
 
That EVO's no good unless you spin it around 180 degrees.
Wish it came with an air vent grille clip but its a good price and with free shipping.

Mounts directly to any one of the car's AC vent by a clip which grabs onto the vent's louver. Not a suction cup base, which works well on the windshield or non-textured dashboard surfaces.
 
Lol... the description has so many copy/paste parts that they didn't pay attention to.

It will hold your iphone securely. ;)
 
sent this note "I was reading the description of Part number 250623841690 (HTC EVO 4G Car Mount Stand) and in the description you state "Suction cup with lock clip to ensure your iphone 4 remains in place" so my question is, does this actually fit the EVO dimensions as the iphone is smaller in width and depth of the EVO. I see you sell this for the iphone as well so are there two different clips for this product? Please help explain this product and how it supports two platforms that are different sizes?"

Let us know how the suction cup holds. Every cheap dock I've ordered has a hard plastic suction cup that only holds for a short time.

So im curious about something maybe someone can fill me in on.

Apparently i guess HTC had a case for its previous phones that when you plugged it into the Dock that it automatically went into a "Car Mode" for more easy navigation of things you would do ...i think it was the Hero or some other phone.

This sounds like a nice thing to have and apparently only their mount did it, is this possible with the Evo 4g and if so which mounts support this?
 
a modified hd2 mount will put your phone into car-dock mode automatically, or you can just use the app for it manually.

Thats what i was curious about, i heard this does anybody have a thread on what needs to be modified?

Or is there any news HTC is releasing one specifically for the Evo4 for this purpose?
