Help Evo Gallery Forcecloses Everytime I Use It

every time I go into my stock gallery app for photos it crashes. I open the gallery and select one of the photo folders (Camera shots, All photos, All downloads) and it locks up and eventually forcecloses. This does not happen if I select one of the video folders. It also happens if I try to go to the gallery from the camera. I have done many searches on this and can't seem to find anyone else having this problem. I know it used to happen occasionally, but I don't know when it became an every time event so not sure if it is linked to an app I installed or not. I have copied the pics off the phone so I have them all. I really don't want to do a factory reset, any ideas? Thanks

1.) Uninstall all your recent apps (ones right before the force close plague)
2.) Uninstall all your apps
3.) Turn the phone off and back on
4.) While the phone is on do a battery pull
5.) If all else fails factory reset the settings.

If you call Sprint they may be able to do something remotely (doubtful tho) if they can't...they'll tell you to Factory Reset the Settings.
