Root EVO H Boot Issue

I have a EVO that is showing an H-Boot verison of 6.16. I am not sure how to format the H-Boot and put that back to version 2-XX. A friend of mine purchased this EVO off Ebay and I am pretty sure that someone did something strange trying to root the phone. Any ideas?

No, nothing strange, click on my sig to see my hboot.
No need to change that!

you are fine. the phone was rooted with revolutionary. when it roots the phone it alters the hbbot to be 6.16.

Thanks for that bit on information. I am currently trying to figure out why the SD card will not mount and thought that maybe the Hboot version was partly the problem.
