Root Evo info move to another Evo?

I have one evo that is on boost with a broken usb port, blah, and another practically brand new evo. Is there an "easy" way to backup all of the communication information on one and move it to the other or do I have to go through the whole process on the new evo for getting it on boost? Thanks in advance to any help.

Contacts should be backed up to Gmail, not the phone. THen you can sync them over to the new phone.

Thanks but I mean the actual communication settings like the esn and such? Really just want to know if i can transfer all of the information to the new evo. Both are mine and clean just broken usb port on one of them so want to use the other I've had lying around on my boost account. Sorry for not being more specific.

Ah, there is a thread on flashing EVOs to Boost. I'm not familiar on how to do it. How did you get the broken EVO flashed to Boost?

The same way as the guide. All those dang steps lol. I can do it all again following the guide but was just curious, since I'm not able to do it at the moment, if there was a way to move all the settings from one to the other. Was hoping for a copy or backup and then paste or restore kind of thing haha. Laziness I suppose if you want to get technical. I've been using my good evo to charge the two evo batteries and then using them in the broken evo...such a pain in the ass.

Thanks Rx, that's what I figured but thought I'd throw the question to folks more knowledgeable than myself first. Time to break out the guide again...

Been doing the same thing. My son dropped my wife's EVO and the usb port is now flimsy. Luckily the screen didn't break due to the case.

I suggest you check out this deal from Amazon. I got the deal and added the car charger as suggested on the page. I am very satisfied with the whole deal.

Amazon.com: Anker 2 x 1700mAh Li-ion Batteries for Sprint HTC EVO 4G, EVO Shift 4G, Droid Incredible; HTC Touch Pro2, Touch Pro 2, Snap; Fits A9292 + Free Anker Multi-purpose USB Travel Charger: Cell Phones & Accessories

also, it looks like the charger is just powered by usb but that is not so, it has prongs that fold out if you want to charge from the wall.

The batteries seem to get a fuller charge than in the phone, seems to get more time out of them that way.
