The phone restarts itself sometimes.. Only have happen 3 times but still. Not sure what is going on but it starts to run like a 486 trying to run Windows 7. I am only using 1.5gigs out of 8gig of the sd card. I have text msgs to clear at 250 msgs. Love the phone but it pisses me off when Im trying to make a call and I have to wait 5 min for the phone book to open.

I would perform a factory reset and try to mantain 100mb of free internal storage. That should help with the lag. Install your apps one by one and test to see if it causes you the same issue, before you start going crazy installing all your apps. That way you can use process of elimination to pin point the issue if its an rogue app.

Are you using a stock rom?

Some are reporting that the so called maintenance update have helped with similar issues. Good luck.

Before you do that, check what is running once the lag starts again using OS Monitor. You can install it from the market. It will give you a list of running processes and how much of the cpu they are using in real time.

I have the same problem i got to turn of about 3-4 times a day 4g is off because theres no 4g coverage in my area so i turn it off so it will stop scanning

The 3.7 HTC update is fixing this 4G lag problem for most people. Try it. So far, it's worked for me, and I have yet to experience 4G lag since getting the new HTC 3.7 update.
