It's too bad that Target won't price match that. Oh well.
You can try Radio Shack, they or Best Buy are usually pretty good at price matching.

Bestbuy is only supposed to price match if it's being sold in brick and mortar store. That said, I once was able to get a price match on a Virgin phone because the Virgin website listed store locations. Afterwards I discovered those locations were actually drug stores that sold top-up cards. You can try Radio Shack, they or Best Buy are usually pretty good at price matching.

Haven't looked but I'm really hoping its not the 3d because that's CRAZY expensive for how old the phone itself is even though its somewhat new for vm

why did they reduce the price ? are they trying to get rid of current stock ? what do you guys think. is there an ulterior motive for them reducing the price ?
Actually, after seeing this thread today, I'm wondering if it has something to do with the Samsung big announcement. Seems like they might want to reduce the on hand stock of the Evo V before announcing a new "high end" (high end for VM) Samsung phone. I'm sure the Galaxy SII would sell well on VM, particularly if they upgraded the OS to ICS or Jellybean.

Just picked up the Evo V for $217.49.
Used a combination of Ebates.com and the sale price on the Virgin site.
$22.50 rebate already received 2 hours after ordering.

Bought mine last night. Dropping VZW september! Looking forward to it. 1/3rd the price, and I'll still be way under my minutes.
