You forgot to say she is from New Jersey yippee for me hehe. But for real both phones are great people. But i work in NYC and find Sprint to have the better service there and for me making calls is a must. Also 4G works there so bam :eek:
 
I am picking up a Droid X as my upgrade soon to my Verizon Blackberry to give it whirl so I will see how well it plays..

I got to give Verizon credit, I love those Droid commercials.

I walked around for a month just randomly yelling out DROOOIIDDDD!!!

LoL I thought I was the onely one! :)

Seriously the Droid commercials are waaaaayy better marketing than Apple could ever wish for which is saying alot. They have a movie like feel to me.

I don't mind i live in Cranford :cool: . I travel all around Jersey myself. I am heading over to the beach at Belmar. I heard some beaches closed because of Sharks. Let me kinda stay on subject Evo rulezzz ok now i won't get banned

Near Plainfield. Edison is more East of me. Oh yeah i guess the Droid X is ok if you don't like to root. Oh yes i did :p. I have a friend who works at Verizon i will see if i can play and compare. How do you like it soo far?

EVO for me atleast has taken very saturated Pictures and Video so im gonna have to say EVO on Top Droid on the bottom......Thats my final answer:rolleyes:

to prove to mainesociety and others that i am NOT a troll i want to say this
and these are MY OPINIONS

EVO:
PROS & THINGS I MISS:
Sense is it biggest PRO....Even though HTC screws up on build quality, HTC software for the most part is very very good and i do kind of miss sense.

I miss the capacitive touch buttons...the X's buttons are foreign to me because all 5 of my android phones have had capacitive buttons.

I kind of miss my front facing camera...my webcam never worked but i love taking pictures of myself that way

Cons:
I don't like the look of the Evo...it is too fat to me

Sprint, Sprint, Sprint...hate them

build quality

While Sense is a Pro it is also a con...it is starting to become dated compared to stock android and the other UI's

DROID X:

PROS:
VERIZON, VERIZON, VERIZON...LOVE THEM
It is taller and skinnier
excellent camera
THE UI is different
REALLY REALLY FAST

Cons:
The UI is different and therefore is taking time to learn...it feels a bit too much

The phone feels...weird in my hand but not bad weird just...weird

Verizon's plans suck

The buttons

That junk in the trunk aka the hump although i kind of like it as well

no pinch to zoom home screens :( even tho i hardly used it

I work out daily or just about

I do modeling and our trainer is like a former marine
so he works the sh** out of us girls so my body is in
great shape even though i eat junk food daily

Just kidding everyones human i workout myself and jus got finsihed eating some Chinese food:o.....That french toast although overly saturated lol looks good.....

I never taught you were a Troll but more enjoyed the company at the Evo Thread then the Droid X hmmm hmmm . I use Launcher Pro so sense is not a problem with me. It feels great in my hands but i'm pretty tall so having a small phone would seem weird as my Pre did. But for me Verizon is the one reason i don't have the Droid X.

lol i like the Evo forums because i like arguring with people who take things like cellphones to heart :)

I am starting to dig the hump*plays black eyed peas "My humps" in the background as i type

but it is a bit different when you think of any other phone on the US market...

Verizon's plans are the most expensive but at the same time...You get what you pay for...

The majority of current Verizon customers i know always say that while the prices are high at least their service is borderline perfect and i share that sentiment
 
They might have good coverage and all, but loading webpages with their 3G network was like watching paint dry.
 
Your right you get what you pay for. But for me Sprint you pay less and get alot more. I like having unlimited text,unlimited cell to cell talk to any carrier,Visual voicemail, and again is cheaper especially since i have the family plan which makes it perfect for me. Also to me Sprint is one of those depends where you live. I live in a place where sprint really is great and in the city it is dependable and i likes it. I pay 140 a month for two lines on sprint now before taxes. I was paying 130 before taxes for the exact same thing i have now for one line. For me Sprint wins in that battle.
