Help EVO Randomly Reboots

Can someone help? My EVO randomly reboots. Sometimes it'll do it while its charging or today it did it right when I was about to make a call. Its been happening for awhile but didn't start to bother me until now.

May be time for a factory reset.

Is there a way to save the apps I've already installed? I hate factory resetting because I lose everything. One thing I hate is the checkbook register I use, once its erased I lose all my transaction history.

well i had the random reboot issue myself a few months back. it would get warmer then normal and reboot randomly. it would get more and more frequent so i took it in to sprint. i ran like three apps at once to show the tech that it would reboot and it did so they ordered me a refurbished which arrive 3 days later. no problems so far with the refurb yet.
