Help Evo rings when playing music

I don't like how the phone rings through my music when I am streaming or playing music. On my BB, I could stop it from ringing. Anyone have an idea without turning off the mobile network?

Just turn down the ringer vol before you start your music.

Even if the ringer is down, it still interrupts the music.

my phone no longer rings when a call comes in while I'm playing music or if I'm listening to a song while silent it doesn't stop the music. How do I get this back?
