Root EVO Roms?

So I was finally able to root my EVO last night, now I'm looking for any good roms to add to my device, or any good root apps that might go well.

What do you guys suggest from your personal experiences? Add as many as you'd like or as little, I'd just like to find some to get me started and feel even better about my EVO. Thanks.

An excellent place to start is in the context of Rooting for Dummies + Extras in the "After Rooting" section of the sticky.

As far as recommended ROM's are concerned, that all depends on what you're looking for. Do you use/need 4g or use HDMI? If so, you'll want to stay with a sense based ROM. Read comments and feedback from others who have used ROM's you're interested in trying and then give them a try. Myn's Warm is my personal favorite.

Hm, that got me thinking. Right after I bought my Evo, I ordered a HDMI cord online and was kind of disappointed with it. I'm a noob so bare with my next question lol, is there a rom that would allow me to project EVERYTHING I do on my Evo onto my tv through the HDMI cord? So far, it only allows me to project videos and YouTube videos, but I'd like to project, say my Gensoid games or text messages. And what kinds of things could I do with 4G? To me, there are alot of features that I really don't use on my Evo but I bet they could be improved through roms. Thanks for the info! I'll check out the site for sure!
 
I gotta agree with these guys... Myns twopointtwo is a great rom... Fresh is also another excellent choice.

I highly recommend getting the donate version of Titanium back up... That application is valuable.
