Root EVO Root Help

I am attempting my second root, I just did my Eris which made it amazing!! I am now working on rooting my girlfriends Evo....this has been a little more challenging. Her radio version is 2.15.00.09.01 every post online has been prior to this version and fails to root. Does anyone have any help for my situation. My main goal is to flash her phone with Cyanogenmod. HELPPPPPPP :)

That is the most current up to date radio. Im not really sure what your question is though lol If you want to root follow this guide http://androidforums.com/evo-4g-all-things-root/194918-rooting-dummies-extras.html and it will get you where you need to be! Also what hboot and software version does your gf's evo have? Hboot 2.02 is not yet compatible with the current unrevoked.

I had this EXACT same issue. I thought i killed the screen, but notice that it doesn't do it during bootup. It first happened to me on netarchy's kernels (tried 3 of 'em), then tried King's #11 and had the same issue. It was intermittent though, would only happen after about 2 reboots using any different kernel. Ultimately, i performed the dalvik/cache wipes in RA recovery and resorted back to the stock #10 kernel. I've been too weary of trying a different kernel ever since...

Huh? lol Im not sure how that pertains to this post. Im confused lol
 
i am trying to root my evo and i have downloaded the pc36im file to me evo sd card but i dont know how to move the file to the top of the sd card. can anyone help me?
