evo running at 56 degrees celcius.

My eve was running at 56 degrees celsius in my house earlier today. Wtf? I found out with juice plotter . The phone was at idle and i picked up to send out a text and and it was really warm to th touch. I took out the battery for an hour or so. It's been back on for a few hours now and its at thirty six celsius . Any suggestions ?

If you can replicate it, show them what is going on to get a replacement.

Ummm I fail to see what the problem is? Other than you checking temps in Celsius rather than Fahrenheit that is (138 f is pretty hot though on a serious note)

It's a smartphone. Sounds like the CPU was ramped up on high for awhile.

Was it charging?

no it was sleeping. i picked it up and it was hot as hell. even the screen was hot. i returned it though. got a new one.
