Help Evo shift charging issue...

Hello everyone. My girlfriend has the evo shift. Lately we have noticed that it will only charge when plugged into a slow charging source like my computer or a really low voltage plug. But what i dont get is that i have a ton of usb wall charger but they wont even charge it at all but all of them work on my other phones. Is there a reason why it will only trickle charge? Thank you
 
His charging port seemed loose and the pins didn't seem to connect. He took it to get repaired but it started acting up again. Might seem to be a chronic problem..... :-(
