Root evo shift flash help

hi,
I just rooted my phone to 2.2. and need a little help. I installed a few different roms to my sd card and trying to flash the rom with rom manager.
some of the roms abort
but
the rom flash's that are success
will not go past the introduction screen.
any help would be appreciated.

i wasnt wiping data.

If you keep getting installation aborted, make sure you're on the latest CWM recovery (or TWRP). Older versions of recovery won't flash some of the newer ROMs.
