Help Evo stock music player

WTF is with this thing, I like to put it on random and i have like 1600 songs. It plays alot of songs more than once, does it not remember what it has played and what it has not? Very annoying to hear the same song again when I have so many. Another thing is when I have it on shuffle if it is playing for example a Eminem song, All it wants to play is Eminem songs for the next ten tracks or so until I keep skipping. Any one else have this problem?

download mixzing from the market. Way superior to the stock player. I would like to replace the stock player with mixzing.
