Help evo touchscreen unlock app?

The only thing i dont like on my evo.... is that everytime my screen locks, i have to use the button at the top to unlock the screen, which is a PITA.

Is there an app out there that will allow me to unlock the screen just by using the touch screen?

No.. but I use 'no lock' to disable the lock screen.

By "unlock" I assume you mean wake the phone back up (turn the screen on).

Someone who actually uses it may have to confirm this, but I *think* widgetlocker will allow any button (like the volume buttons) to wake up the the phone. Like I said, I'm not positive on that one since I don't use it. That's what I've heard.

If you have root, you can actually remap the buttons too:

That's probably way too drastic for most people, though. There is no way to wake up the screen by just touching it, though. It would be far to easy to accidentally wake it up (in your pocket for example).

I can confirm that Widgetlocker does let you use the volume buttons to wake up the phone.

I doubt you will even want anything to 'wake' your phone by using the touchscreen because then you will accidentally run apps, make calls and send texts when your phone is in your pocket.
