Help EVO Update-Help

I have tried numerous time to update my EVO to the nw Android Update. I have been downloading for almost and hour and it only shows 1% downloaded. My husband updated his and it took 10 mins. Is there something that I'm doing wrong? Is anyone else having the same problems? Any help would be appreciated!

The update seems to take forever on the mobile network.
Have you tried WIFI?

Hey thanks! I'll trying and get my wi-fi up and running and I'll try that.

I'm having problems getting the wi-fi to connect Is there any tricks? It will just say trying to obtaining IP address.

I assume you have been able to connect to this same wifi before? You can try to "Forget" the network by Menu ---> Settings ---> Wireless & networks ---> Wi-Fi settings ---> long press on your network, when a box pops up, click on "Forget Network". After that, try to connect to the wifi signal again and put in any of the necessary info (name, password).

Yes I have been able to connect to the wi-fi before just not with my phone. I guess there is something wrong with the phone's wi-fi because it will not connect. It just reads obtaining IP address.
