Help Evo Volume

I have a pair of phillips portable speakers, that would be SUPER LOUD with my iphone and blackberry previously. I have my Evo hooked up to them right now and its barely audible. Is there some sort of sound setting that I can check into? If this is as loud as a set of external speakers can go on this thing, I am very disappointed

Edit- The media volume is all the way up and there is no volume adjustment for the speakers. any help?

Nope. I dont like it either, when i plug my phone into my car stereo, I have to have both the phone and stereo at almost max volume to hear it.

dag nabbit, why would they limit the output volume. my co-workers iphone with no speakers is louder than my evo WITH speakers, this is some bs

I got the same issue with my bose in-ear phones, not nearly loud enough on a plane even at full volume. With my zune they can get piercingly loud. An app to boost output would be nice.

You have to push the audio wire in very hard at the top of the phone... if u think u did believe me push harder. I thought the same thing until I did this with 3 different sets of speakers you have to push it in entireluntil the headphone logo appears in the notifications bar
