Root EVO vs Droid Root

Now that I'm enjoying my rooted EVO my daughter has shown interest in rooting her Verizon Droid. There doesn't seen to be near the support for the Droid family as there is for the Evo so I was wondering if anyone has experience with them.

I've never owned a Droid myself but everyone I knew that had one (at that time) was quite happy with it. You'll probably get better feedback in the Droid's ATR subforum.
