I have an Evo and my wife has an Evo Shift. Her phone does not have good reception. At home, mine shows 6 bars while hers shows 3-4 bars. We both have the same PRL, 60678.

Can't adjust anything. Realize, phones have radios in them. Your radio reception is better than your wife's. Sometimes its your radio or the environment you have you phone in. Lots of things affect radio reception. The EVO 4G is not the EVO Shift. Made by the same company but different specs in the phone and not made from the same materials.
