EVO:Will you have to unroot for froyo update?!

Will I have to unroot my phone from HTCEVOHACKS.com ? its stock rom just rooted version would like to know before the update comes out I'm sure alot of people would love to know please answer

I for one will wait. A rooted 2.2 rom will be available withing days if not hours of the release tomorrow.

According to unrevoked Unrevoked (unrevoked) on Twitter the update is available for manual download (link for DL is at the twitter link). But they warn it will unroot your phone, and there is NO rooting as of right now. Doesn't seem worth it... especially since they'll probably come out with a root in the next few days.
