Hey there everyone. I am a new owner of the Sprint Evo. I tried to root my phone and without success. 
When I got to the boot menu on my evo it checked the software I transerred from my computer to my Evo and a warning came up saying the software was old. I then learned that I have the new Evo with Android 2.2
I am not very "TECH" savvy so If any of you out there can understand what I am saying and can help, please do. I would apreciate any help. Thank you,
