Root Evo with Fresh Baked 1.7 = outstanding!

I will test it with mine and see. I have an 1800 MAh battery so I will probably get about half of what you are getting.

I just switched from Fresh and I have also tried VaelPak. I like VaelPak but wanted to test all my options first. I do want to finally settle on one because I don't have a bunch of time to keep changing but I want one that works, is stable and is updated.

I was in NY this past week for 4 days and was running Fresh 3.2. I kept having random reboots with Kings #9 as it seems to be the case with a lot of people. I realized that I need something stable because my phone would reboot when I needed it most for calls or directions and I found that I couldn't rely on it.

I said it before Im not a fan of Sense but I have been running this combo since Sunday and I'm pretty pleased with this choice, the ROM is as stable as it gets and so is the Kernel,no random reboots or lag whatsoever.

I tried fresh but it was to slow for me,coming from CM6 and snap I'm used to have lighting fast browsing speeds so nothing was good enough for me until I decided to give BS a shot.Is not as fast as CM but is close.

Time to change your avatar. lol. Jk. I was switching back and forth from this to CM6 and I definitely can tell CM6 is faster but not by much. I just felt it wasn't as polished. What did it for me was yesterday when I was driving to pick up my gf and I was on the phone with her and wanted to get directions since I got a little lost. Turns out there was 4g in the area and wham! I was able to navigate while talking to her. I wouldn't have been able to do this with CM6. I just keep going back to Baked. I've tried so many and I think I'm finally set.

At least let me rock the avatar, lol.Yep,this ROM is very polished indeed. In fact this is the most time I been without CM6 and to be honest I'm not missing much from it.

I thought I would never say this but I think I'm starting to like Sense.;)

So got a change to try out the now rooted OTA and although it was smooth it wasnt as completely smooth as this rom. I notice it sometimes gets choppy when scrolling. This is evident when scrolling in my contacts. It gets choppy with Dungeon Hunter as well when I move around too fast. However very identical in smoothness when it doesnt stutter. So if you want be official I think it's the way to go. But not enough for me so I'm back to Baked and so happy.

I gotta admit Cyanogens flash boot and logo is one of the best ones I've seen. So I don't blame you for wanting to keep it.

It looks like 1.8 is out for members. Has anyone tried it? Whats your opinion?

Been running it since yesterday and so far seems very similar to 1.7 as far as responsiveness and battery life (which for me, is a good thing).

When the new OTA came out last week, I ran the stock rooted ROM for a few days and battery life on the new stock HTC kernel is noticeable worse for me than the BS kernel.
